Open hearing, monarchy propaganda program

The RTVE program "Open Audience" is broadcast every Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and deals with the Head of State, the Crown and the Monarchy. Its director is Miguel Angel Sacaluga. It is, in short, a propaganda program of the Monarchy, where only the positive things of this institution appear, regardless of social and republican reality. Everything is inaugurations, palaces, entertainment, a dream world. Today, June 26, they issued it from the Student Residence, as its Board of Trustees that presides over the Monarchy met. It presides, but for years only Queen Letizia has been there, and not her honorary patron, King FelipeVI. There must be some explanation, which I don't know, but I imagine it has something to do with the European seal.

Once again, we see the usual members of the Residence in the photos and official RTVE documentary; José Garcia Velasco, its "Honorary President", Alicia Gomez Navarro, its director, and among the members, the incombustibles, Mercedes Cabrera Calvo Sotelo, Juan Pablo Fusi, Josefina Gomez Mendoza, Martinez Aceña and José Elguero. All of them in a private capacity, since the Board of Guatemala Mobile Number List Trustees also includes companies, the President of the CSIC, Ministers, such as the Minister of Science, who today chairs the Board of Trustees, etc. In the case of José Garcia Velasco, he has been linked to said Residence for 30 years and also took over the Free Education Institution (ILE). In both, he actively participated in the destruction of their historical heritage, and in promoting the oblivion of said emblematic institutions, in the republican periods, as is the case of the Carabineros Hospital that is located in said Residence during the Spanish War (1937- 39), and where hundreds of militiamen were cured of a malaria epidemic.



Republican legality was defended, for which he was later severely retaliated. Its director was the eminent doctor Luis Calandre Ibañez, subdelegate of the Board for Expansion of Studies (JAE), and related to the Residence from its creation in 1910 until the end, in 1939. I have always thought that behind these people is the Catholic sect of Opus Dei, because to this day, the Church of the Holy Spirit is still found, with the statue of its creator, Monsignor Escriva de Balaguer, on the CSIC campus. That Church occupies what was the old auditorium of the Student Residence. This open audience program today focuses a lot on the pardons given to the Catalan leaders, which have been signed by the king, and has produced so much media stir.
